Another thing is that when Amazon started in 1994, the name of the company was Cadabra, but later Amazon's owner found out that the word Cadabra means corpse. After that he thought a lot about the Amazon River which is the largest river in the world and the basin was named Amazon.

He narrows down his list very intelligently and gives more priority to IT related products and keeps compact discs, computer hardware, computer software, videos and books in his list.
